Aquatic Park - bay end of Van
Ness below Ghirardelli
Baker Beach - From Lombard Street,
take the last SF exit before the GG Bridge (be
careful not to go over the bridge), take a right
off the exit and another right onto Lincoln Blvd.
Follow along the ocean until you see signs for
Baker beach, turn right into baker beach and another
right to go to the far parking lot (closest to
the bridge)
Battery Godfrey - From the Marina,
the quickest way is to take Lombard toward the
Golden Gate Bridge. Take the LAST SF EXIT (be careful
not to go over the bridge!), take a right off the
exit and another right onto Licoln Blvd. Follow
Lincoln under the overpass and up the hill past
the Log Cabin (on your left). Once you pass the
Log Cabin, slow down as it will come up quickly.
Turn right onto LANGDON and follow it out to the
parking lot by the water.
Fort Mason - Enter at the intersection
of Buchanan Street and Marina Boulevard. Enter
Fort Mason Center Parking lot and go to the far
end (furthest east). Class meets at the bottom
of the stairs between the park and the buildings.
Golden Gate Bridge - Visitor
Parking at South end of Bridge. Last SF exit going
north on 1.
Inspiration Point – Just
inside the Presidio on the north side of the Arguello
gate on Arguello Blvd. Beautiful overlook.
Julius Kahn Park - From the Arguello
Gate of the Presidio, go into the Presidio, and
as soon as you enter the park make an IMMEDIATE
right on West Pacific Avenue. Follow the road down
to Julius Kahn Playground. From the Presidio Gate
of the Presidio, go into the Presidio, and as soon
as you enter the park make an IMMEDIATE left on
West Pacific Avenue. Follow the road down to Julius
Kahn Playground.
Lyon Street Stairs – Meet
at Lyon and Broadway at the top of the stairs
Marina Green - At the adult jungle
gym on Marina Blvd. between Webster and Fillmore
Palace of Fine Arts - Meet in
the large parking lot behind the Exploratorium
- 3601 Lyon Street, San Francisco, CA 94123. Take
101 North to the Market Street/Van Ness exit. Take
Van Ness to Lombard (look for signs to the Golden
Gate Bridge.) Turn left onto Lombard. Once on Lombard,
get into the right-hand lane. Follow Lombard to
Lyon Street. At Lyon Street turn right. At the "T",
turn left onto Palace Drive. Follow it around the
Palace of Fine Arts to the entrance of the parking
lot, on your left.
Palace of Legion of Honor - 100
34th Avenue Take Geary to 34th. Ave. Turn right
on 34th Ave. and follow it into Lincoln Park. Park
in lot by big red sculpture.
Presidio YMCA - Corner of Lincoln
Ave. and Funston Ave. in the Presidio. Enter at
Lombard Gate, right at 2nd stop, follow Lincoln,
YMCA on left
Volleyball Lawn - Just east
of Crissy Field on Marina Blvd., across from the
Palace of Fine Arts.
Warming Hut - At the far west
end of Crissy Field. Park at the West Picnic Bluff.
