Boot Camp, Personal
Trainer
Jim has been in some form of competitive
sport almost all his life. His parents
started him off in the pool at age 4 and
he was competing by age 6. He loves snow
and water skiing, tennis, mountain biking,
hiking, and camping with his wife and three
dogs. While living in Sacramento in the
90’s, he trained and competed in
various triathlons in the area. During
college, he took a semester off to travel
and study in Sweden and has visited exotic
places such as Jamaica, Costa Rica, Iceland,
and Greenland. Before joining OutFiT, Jim
worked for many years as a corporate software
trainer. Aside from working as a boot camp
instructor, Jim helps his wife run their
employment agency for Veterinary Technicians,
VetTech Relief. He holds a BA in Political
Science, is a nationally certified personal
trainer through ACE, as well as being certified
through the NASM in kinetic chain assessment
(postural analysis). In June of ’05,
he completed a trainer certification through
CrossFit. His training philosophy is based
on constantly varied, functional movements
executed at high intensity. He brings his
passion for exercise, desire to train,
and love of helping people learn and excel
to the OutFiT Fitness family. |

Kezar Boot Camp,
Personal Trainer
Brad has lived his entire life in Northern
California. Born in Sonoma County, he was
raised part-time on a ranch and dairy.
He doesn’t chop wood, milk cows,
build fences or drive cattle much anymore,
but that’s where he learned his love
for the outdoors, animals and hard work.
Having lived in the Sacramento Valley for
twenty years, he has participated in just
about every outdoor fitness activity —
bicycling, roller-blading, kayaking, tennis,
skiing (water and snow), horseback riding,
hiking, swimming, volleyball, baseball,
basketball, football and was even Fourth
Grade Hula-hooping Champion. Brad is a
Certified Personal Trainer, has a degree
from the University of California at Davis
in Creative Writing and is an award-winning
poet. His past lives include retail manager,
marketing executive and hospice volunteer. |

Greg is one of the rare people who can
actually say he is a San Francisco native.
While he loves the bay area, he also loves
to travel. He has visited 13 countries
and is heading to take a whirlwind tour
of the South Pacific this summer. Greg’s
passion for an active life led him to participate
in athletics at ASU. While there, he was
a strength and conditioning/track and field
coach to hundreds of athletes. Greg is
currently working on a Masters in Kinesiology
at SF State. In his spare time, you’ll
find Greg coaching track or football at
San Francisco City College, tinkering with
muscle cars or in the kitchen cooking up
a culinary masterpiece. |
